Role: Site Reliability Engineer
Role summary:
- The position calls for a hands-on SRE who can independently troubleshoot complex problems spanning applications, databases, networking, observability, workflow orchestration, and GPU infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
- Own production reliability, availability, and performance.
- Administer and support OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters, deployments, pods, services, routes, operators, namespaces, quotas, and upgrades.
- Lead incident response and RCA, driving permanent fixes and post-incident improvements.
- Establish and improve SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Build monitoring, logging, and alerting with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK/EFK, and Dynatrace.
- Automate operational work using Shell/Python, Ansible, Terraform, and Helm.
- Support CI/CD and GitOps tooling including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Tekton, and ArgoCD.
- Troubleshoot workflow platforms such as Airflow, Argo Workflows, and Control-M.
- Support NVIDIA GPU-enabled workloads, database issues, networking, capacity planning, performance tuning, and scaling.
- Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles and participate in on-call support.
Required profile:
- 5+ years in SRE, Production Support, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong production experience with Red Hat OpenShift, with Kubernetes as a secondary platform.
- Linux/RHEL troubleshooting and container knowledge using Docker/Podman.
- Shell and/or Python scripting.
- Observability, networking, CI/CD, GitOps, and infrastructure-as-code experience.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and tools such as ServiceNow.
- Strong analytical, communication, and independent problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- EX280, CKA, or CKAD certification.
- NVIDIA GPU Operator/CUDA and AI/ML Kubernetes experience.
- Istio/OpenShift Service Mesh and API gateway exposure.
- AWS, Azure, or GCP and hybrid-cloud experience.
- Banking/Financial Services experience in regulated, high-availability environments.
Salary Range - $80,000-$90,000 a year Location
