Charge Medical Lab Scientist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assists the Lab Director/Lab Manager in the management of the division and serves as a resource person for problem solving. Primary duties include teaching/training, communication, testing, research and development and quality control.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in biological science or chemistry and Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT/MLT) certification

Or

Associate's degree / Medical Laboratory Technician Certification. Three years of clinical laboratory experience.

Medical Laboratory Scientist certification by an appropriate laboratory agency is required.Specialty certification is strongly encouraged. In-depth technological knowledge in specialty area.

EXPERIENCE:

Three years of clinical laboratory experience.

SCHEDULE:

This position is 36 hours per week from 11:30 am - 10:00 pm and every third weekend.
