Position Title: Tire Mounter
Wage: $15.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm Looking for a steady, Monday-Friday job with weekends off? We have a 1st shift Tire Mounter opening in Grinnell paying $15/hr! This hands-on position is great for someone who enjoys physical work, stays active throughout the day, and is comfortable with heavy, repetitive lifting. No experience necessary, training provided! Tire Mounter Responsibilities: - Pull wheel rims from the warehouse and match them with tires according to customer orders - Operate a tire mounting machine to assemble tires and rims - Inflate tires using an air compressor to the required specifications - Stack, band, and wrap completed tires onto pallets for shipment - Move completed pallets to designated areas using a forklift - Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements for Tire Mounter: - Valid driver's license required - Previous warehouse, production, or assembly experience preferred - Comfortable with heavy and repetitive lifting throughout the shift - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively - Some tires may weigh up to 170 lbs and require team lifting or assistance - Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift and perform repetitive physical tasks - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Willingness to learn and complete forklift training QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
