100% FTE, Monday - Friday, evening shift. 3:00pm - 11:30am. Holiday in-house shift responsibility. No call responsibility. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at the American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN), Care Team Leader to:



  • Be a front line nursing leader with excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Mentor others to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills.
  • Communicate with the interprofessional team to establish goals and strategies.


Education:

Minimum - Baccalaureate degree in nursing or ADN and achievement of BS in nursing within five years of hire.

Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing

Work Experience:

Minimum - Two (2) years of experience in Surgical Services setting

Preferred - Three (3) years of experience in Surgical Services setting

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations. Basic Life Support/CPR and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Preferred - National certification in relevant specialty
