Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking Respiratory Therapist 3 is looking for a dedicated Respiratory Therapist 3 to join the team. This role will be full-time night shift, 7:00PM to 7:00AM.

Responsibilities



  • The Respiratory Therapist 3 administers advanced respiratory care therapeutics and diagnostic services with a high level of skill and proficiency.
  • Integrates knowledge, skills, and experience to promote optimum patient care.
  • Utilizes standards, guidelines, protocols, and pathways for optimal care delivery.
  • Incorporates data and information to continually improve care/practice to enhance outcomes is essential. Works effectively and appropriately while communicating with other healthcare team members, patients, and families.
  • Work Schedule - 36 Hours a week full-time 7:00PM to 7:00AM with Weekends



Requirements



  • Graduate of an accredited CoARC (The Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) respiratory care program.
  • Two years in a critical care environment experience
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) + One of the following (ACLS, PALS or NRP).
  • OR an Advanced Credential (ACCS, AEC, NPS, RPFT, CPFT or SDS) OR a relevant bachelor's degree.
  • Basic Life Support from AHA upon start.
  • Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Respiratory Therapist.
