About: Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM), and Boston Medical Center are recruiting for up to two board certified/board eligible Academic Advanced Gastroenterologists to join the Section of Gastroenterology. Our values and mission continues to drive our stronghold of excellence in patient care, education, and research. Both newly trained and/or experienced Advanced Gastroenterologists are welcome to apply. The positions would have clinic and inpatient consult responsibilities in addition to endoscopy. One of the positions is for an early- or mid-career advanced endoscopist, preferably with training in "third space" endoscopy as well as interventional EUS techniques. Teaching responsibilities for both positions would include working with GI fellows, internal medicine residents and medical students. Research focus of the section includes innovative optical technologies, disparities, liver disease and inflammatory bowel disease. These are full-time clinical positions, with a mix of endoscopy and clinic sessions. Successful applicants will have strong clinical skills, enthusiasm for teaching and academic productivity.
