Duties/Responsibilities


Duties/Responsibilities

* Assist in the development, implementation and management of the Georgia Gymnastics social media strategy alongside program specialist & various social media team members. Team will meet regularly until strategy is implemented. At that point it will be expected for the GA to continue implementing with assistance of program specialist as needed.

* Manage and oversee social media content. Ensure content is appropriate & engaging across the Georgia Gymnastics top three target audiences.

* Measure the success of social media campaigns. Report information to coaching staff as needed.

* Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies

* Promote & attend home meets as well as any other events as needed.

* Work with student manager & coaching staff to make sure that social media posts correspond with recruiting correspondence as needed.

* Attend home meets, recruiting visits & other team events as needed.

* Oversee apparel needs (pulling + returning all apparel for photo shoots, competitions, or special events; keeping a detailed inventory of items in equipment room; assist with apparel orders and organizing inventory)

* Communicate with all coaches + staff, athletes, fans, donors, alumni (answer any questions, help direct questions to the correct people, assist with any projects/tasks needed)

* Execute miscellaneous administrative tasks (checking the office voicemail daily, getting paper & supplies from the mailroom as needed, checking campus mail daily).

* Assist with community service events for the team, including Special Olympics.

* Other administrative duties as assigned.
