Civil Engineer (3-7 year)

Position Overview:

The primary focus of this role will be to prepare Construction Documents for private Site Development projects in central Ohio. This will include the entire lifecycle of a project from planning and zoning through reviewing/approving shop drawings. The ideal candidate will be able to participate in the preparation of storm water management design, utility design, roadway and parking design, grading design, erosion and sediment control design, and construction detailing and specifications.

Primary Duties:

• Utilize Civil 3D to prepare Construction Documents for private development projects in Central Ohio.
• Develop Stormwater Management designs and prepare the related report and documentation.
• Engage and facilitate the development of younger engineers.
• Work with regulators to address plan review comments.
• Site/field visits during design and construction as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• 3-7 years of civil design experience.
• Professional Engineer Licensure (PE) is a plus.
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Use of AutoTurn, HydroCAD, and Deltek a plus.
• Excellent communication and delegation skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage and mentor team members.
