Job Responsibilities:

• The Surgical Technologist CVOR acts as a resource in an Inova Fairfax Medical Campus CVOR. Assists OR Service Leader to ensure unit compliance with quality, safety, regulatory requirements, and JCAHO standards.
• Demonstrates leadership traits and supporting behavioral competencies.
• Assists the OR Service Leader in analyzing data, ensuring team adherence to performance standards, and improving processes continuously.
• Serves as primary liaison and information resource for specialty.
• Oversees the provision of therapeutic care in a holistic, evidence-based environment that produces excellent patient care with optimal patient outcomes.
  

Requirements for Consideration:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-year experience as a Surgical Technologist n cardiac surgery required
• Licensed Surgical Technologist via Commonwealth of Virginia required upon Start
• Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required upon Start
• One of the following Surgical Technologist certifications required Upon start:
