Requirements for consideration:

• Associate degree
• American Registered Radiologic Technologist certification or registry eligible within one year of employment
• Basic Life Support required upon start.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Radiation Therapist 2 communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, healthcare team members, supervisors and outside contacts.
• Responsible for treatment modalities and protocols to accurately set-up and administer radiation treatments on a daily basis.
• Performs simulation procedures for initial patient set-up while verifying proper functioning of linear accelerators, simulators and Computed Tomography machines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
