This role is in the CPSG Operations function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Perform assigned warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and quality, and (ii) Assist customers with order pickup; complete deliveries of inventory to customer locations; may provide basic customer service functions. Requires 0-2 years of relevant work experience and a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Associate I, Warehouse Overview:

Perform assigned warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and quality

Assist customers with order pickup; complete deliveries of inventory to customer locations; may provide basic customer service functions

May process UPS shipments daily in some locations

Assist with handling incoming telephone inquiries, and other administrative duties as requested

Acquire knowledge regarding a clean and safe working environment, safety, security, company standards in the distribution center

Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner in order ensure little to no accidents

Contribute process suggestions in order to continuously improve warehouse operations

Fully contribute in continuous improvement events to improve operations

Identify deviations in the process and immediately notify supervisor in order to correct issue

Report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur in order to minimize safety risk

This position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed

Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams

Protect CPSG's reputation by keeping information confidential

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

Associate I, Warehouse Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

0-2 years of relevant work experience

Ability to Read and Write in English

Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in Spanish

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds

Ability to stand, walk, and sit up

Ability to use hand to finger, handle, or feel

Ability to climb or balance

Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl

Ability to reach with hands and arms

Ability to talk or hear
