Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic experienced Sales Representative to direct the total sales effort in the South Florida area.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

-Sell the organization's products by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects.
-Display or demonstrate product, using samples and catalog to emphasize features and benefits on every call as well as stay informed on new products, pricing, and other general information. Ensure that presentations and selling ideas are made to all persons who influence the purchase of products.
-Quotes selling price and credit terms for orders obtained and is responsible for the collection of all accounts.
-Ensure proper service and follow-up on all customer accounts.
-Check on competitive sales and pricing activity as well as develop specific sales and pricing objectives for each account.
-Act as a consultant, to provide advice and guidance to customers about their requirements. -In addition responsible for establishing and executing of the standards and goals needed to achieve/maintain territory objectives.
-Ensure that all customers have an assigned frequency of sales contact and that assigned frequencies are maintained in the weekly call plan.
-Communicates account activity to maintain a high level of follow through re: credit, collections, and adjustments.
-Prepare sales estimates and forecasts, when required, on a timely basis and of minimal variance.
-Develop and maintain an active prospect list. New account prospect calls must be incorporated into all weekly call plans.

External Qualifications

-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Broad knowledge of the food service products, services, and marketing techniques,
-Two + years of experience in a sales environment, preferably in the food service industry.
-Ability to travel throughout assigned geographic or account base territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders.
-Must have a proven record of sales in the territory,
-Exceptional organizational and administrative
skills; high attention to detail; and the ability to handle multiple tasks,
prioritize and carry them out independently.
-Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) and aptitude to learn Sales software programs.
