As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be part of a highly trained security team that supports critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues that required an enhanced presence and personal protective services.

Job Description

Expected Responsibilities:

Contractor shall adequately supervise all Security Guards assigned under the provisions of this Agreement during each Security Guard's entire shift. "Adequately supervise" includes but is not limited to: ensuring staffing levels are met, ensuring Security Guards arrive on time and are prepared to begin work, observing the Security Guard's work habits, appearance, overall performance, and verifying applicable patrol. Day-to-day Security Guard supervision will be accomplished by one of three classifications of supervision: 1) Contractor Site Manager 2) SGM and/or 3) SGS.

iv. Security Guard Supervisor (SGS)

1) The SGS will be the first line of supervision for SG1 and SG2. The SGS will perform various supervisory responsibilities including, liaison to Client, prepare shift schedules, train replacement Security Guards, ensure post orders are updated and complete, inspect and ensure Security Guards are in compliance with all Agreement requirements, ensure and review Security Guard reports, and discipline Security Guards, when necessary.

2) The SGS may report directly to the SGM or Client representative. When not performing administrative responsibilities, the SGS will assume routine patrol duties. Client will have the ability to modify the SGS's duties to fit the agency's needs. The number of Security Guards the SGS will supervise will not exceed twenty-five (25), unless approved in writing by Client, and not be less than two (2) based on the needs of Client and the complexity of the assignment

Qualifications:

A Current guard card license as required by State or local law.

Must pass a 12-panel drug test prior to placement.

Must pass a criminal history check (based on fingerprints where permitted by law) independent of state professional certification requirements.

Must undergo employment verification check back to age 18.

Must undergo motor vehicle record checks.

Must be 21 years or older.

May be required to perform emergency duties which require physical exertion such as: standing or walking for an entire shift, climbing stairs, lifting, carrying objects up to 75 lbs., and running.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; possession of a college degree is highly desirable.

Speak, read, and write English.

All assigned personnel should be of high integrity and possess exemplary security skills and judgment.

Assigned personnel should possess above average computer skills and must hold all necessary and required licenses, permits and certifications required by the States and/or Countries of assignment to perform security officer duties.

Work Environment and Schedule



  • Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors.
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities.
  • Open availability Nights, Weekends, Holidays and overtime as directed(overtime occurs).
  • Work various shifts and Holidays as assigned.
