JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, in Hershey, PA,is seeking an innovative and highly driven Research Technologist for the Beat Childhood Cancer Research Consortium in the Division of Hematology/Oncology. This position will assist in the design and development of experiments, including the development of new methodologies, direct all aspects of the biochemical laboratory environment, assist in the analyses and preparation of data for publication and presentation, and provide support to primary investigators. Essential Functions
This position will be filled at an Intermediate or Advanced Professional depending on the candidate's education and experience. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional education and/or experience required for higher level positions. This is a limited-term position funded for one year from date of hire, withpossibility of refunding.
