Pre-Admissions Manager-NP or PA-Full Time-Variable Shifts

SUMMARY

The PAT Manager handles the monthly schedule and payroll actions for all PA/NP's in the PAT clinic. The The PAT Manager will complete all performance evaluations and rounding for all PA/NP's in the PAT clinic. The PAT clinic Manager will coordinate the preparation of the patient and the patient's chart for surgery and oversee other PA/NP's doing the same under the guidelines set forth by the anesthesia department. This position will provide oversight for all Department Regulatory standards (ie CMS, Joint Commission). This position will report to the Director of Anesthesia.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  Masters degree from an accredited program for Primary Care Physician Assistants or Masters degree from an accredited program for Nurse Practitioner (Clinical Specialist) required.
• 
  Either current Georgia State Physician Assistant license or Georgia Advanced Practice Nursing License is required.
• 
  Two (2) years experience in a Surgical Pre-admission testing environment or other comparable setting.
• 
  Current certification by the NCCPA or ANCC.
• 
  Previous experience in Anesthesia is preferred.
