Requisition ID req30532 Working Title Emergency Med Tech/Paramedic (TEMS) Position Grade 11 Position Summary The University of New Mexico, School of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine, Emergency Medical Services Consortium, is seeking part-time Paramedics. The successful applicants will respond to statewide emergencies under the supervision of the EMS Medical Direction Consortium. They will work to support the EMS Academy and EMS Consortium through remote on-site clinical care and education. The individuals will be responsible for primary advanced life support patient care directly supporting EMS Consortium contracts. See the Position Description for additional information. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience in the field of pre-hospital EMS. Certification/Licensure: NM licensure as Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Paramedic. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
