Senior Relationship and Capture Manager

Job Duties

This position will both fill the pipeline and oversee opportunities after they are qualified. The individual will assess the customer's needs and goals, competition, and potential solutions. Then they develop a win strategy for each opportunity that outlines the plan to close each deal and earn the prospect's business.

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities with current and new customers
  • Support portfolio business development efforts
  • Support new business capture efforts through capability briefings, RFI responses, and proposal development.
  • Develop/maintain relationships with teaming partners, clients, and employees
  • Assist in assessing, prioritizing, and recommending teaming partners for opportunities
  • Build/execute capture, teaming and win strategies
  • Assist in the development and execution of growth and opportunity strategies
  • Gather program intelligence, analyze data, and assess competition
  • Assist in the development of white papers and presentations representing portfolio capabilities, products, and services
  • Assist in performing organizational conflict of interest and current client risk assessments
  • Participate in the review and authoring of proposals
  • Participation in conferences and industry groups

Minimum Required Skills and Education:

  • >10 years Capture Management experience in technical services in the Federal and DoD markets. Direct experience and relationships with DHS, TSA, Air Force, NASA, and DOD are beneficial.
  • Technical background to understand customer requirements and organizational capabilities alignment and solutioning efforts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including communicating with senior government and corporate management
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Ability to think strategically and have detailed organizational skills for multi-tasking.

Security Clearance

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD and/or DHS security clearance, public trust and/or suitability is required.
