Description

Essential Job Functions - but not limited to the following:



  1. Performs a variety of -skilled duties to support the manufacturing production process and/or plant and equipment maintenance, including hand worker, assembler, tool grinding, indicating stands, straightening presses, shot-blast, production welding processes, grinding ingots, billets, forge stock and production pieces.
  2. Operates overhead cranes and/or radio-controlled cranes when and where required and/or assigned.
  3. Utilize electrode tempering furnaces to heat treat ingot electrodes.
  4. Work will include assignments in all machining processes and related manufacturing support and service areas.
  5. Operates forklifts, man lifts, and all other types of industrial vehicles and equipment.
  6. Performs all work following plant safety rules.
  7. Maintains the highest quality standards in the execution of all assigned work.
  8. Maintains all reports and recordkeeping as required including inventory control.
  9. Capable of reading blueprints
  10. Performs routine preventative maintenance on all machines as required.
  11. Maintains housekeeping in all work areas.
  12. Performs other routine labor work as assigned and as required following production flow and/or plant needs.


Regular attendance as scheduled is an essential function.

  • Maintain working area in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
  • Observe all safety rules and regulations.
  • Attend all required meetings and training
  • Perform all other duties as required.
