Description

Our beautiful 160 room boutique style, Aloft Mountain View Hotel is seeking an energic, detail orientated and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our great team! This position will be essential to creating a great guest experience by supervising all operations of the food and beverage staff, promoting a safe environment and quality service to achieve maximum guest satisfaction!

What will you be doing?

1. Direct and organize the activities of the Food and Beverage Department to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and merchandising to maximize hotel Profitability.

2. Assist in the development of menus and concepts for outlets and meeting space.

3. Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food and Beverage Department to meet the daily needs of the operation.

4. Develop, implement and monitor schedules for the operation of all food and beverage sub-departments to achieve a profitable result.

5. Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.

6. Implement effective control of food, beverage and labor costs among all sub-departments to Crescent standards.

7. Implement emergency training and procedures to ensure appropriate protection of the hotel, guests, staff and company assets.

8. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

9. Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

What can you bring to the position?

Must have at least one year of experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor in a hotel. Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include, nights, weekends and holiday.

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to grasp, lift, carry or otherwise move materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
