DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will engage in a range of duties that are essential for the safe and efficient functioning of all equipment at the Farm Show Complex. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the setup, maintenance, and dismantling of various events, while ensuring the effective operation of all machinery. Additionally, you will oversee the upkeep of the complex's grounds and facilities, which encompasses equipment management, waste disposal, custodial tasks, general maintenance, and snow removal. The Farm Show Complex operates in a dynamic environment where meeting deadlines is crucial to ensure that events are properly prepared and sustained.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- This position is considered essential and as such is required to report to working during emergencies and office closings.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months experience in the operation and maintenance of large vans, buses and single-chassis trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds or more; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirement:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
