Healthcare Payor Services Internship

In today's ever-changing healthcare landscape, payors face a unique set of opportunities and challenges. Drawing on deep industry experience, the Payor Services Practice of Forvis Mazars Healthcare helps guide payors through end-to-end regulatory reviews, clinical and quality outcomes, network expansion, reimbursement transformation, and operational process improvements. We serve national and local payors including managed Medicare and Medicaid, public and private exchanges, state agencies, and commercial plans.

How you will contribute:

  • Supporting clients on a variety of healthcare consulting projects
  • Learning new internal software and platforms
  • Demonstrating strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to compile and assess large data sets, while
  • identifying potential data concerns or issues
  • Learning and developing new technical knowledge specific to our consulting practice and the clients we serve
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with the health care practitioners in other service lines within the firm
  • and maintain an understanding of the breadth of firm offerings
  • Delivering Forvis Mazars' commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive
  • communication with internal and external clients

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited university required: healthcare administration, public health, health information management, economics, business, accounting, finance, nursing or analytics preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong excel skills
  • Ability to travel to client locations as needed
