The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are adding an Operations Manager to our growing Digital Buildings team in Denver, CO. McKinstry's Digital Buildings group leverages technology solutions to optimize both new and existing building infrastructure. We provide highly-valued professional services focused on optimizing energy-consuming systems, asset advisory, and construction related consulting services. These services center around the core belief of delivering High Performance Buildings. Some responsibilities of an Operations Manager include:

  • Ensure client satisfaction with our Digital Buildings offerings.
  • Drive project delivery excellence.
  • Hire, coach, and performance manage team members consistent with McKinstry values.
  • Manage business unit staffing levels and own financial performance.
  • Support the sales team by attending meetings, presentations, or providing technical solution information/examples when requested.
  • Continue relationship with client to propose new phases of work and gain new contracts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience.
  • BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or equivalent field of study required, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Knowledge of building HVAC mechanical systems, BAS systems, energy analysis, and performance contracting preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams required.
  • Proficient in project management, people leadership and business acumen

The pay range for this position is $102,780 - $162,830 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
