Production Planner
Do you enjoy connecting the dots between materials, people, and production to drive efficiency and deliver results? If so, we're looking for a Production Planner to join our team!
In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the flow of materials throughout the production cycle. You'll work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Operations, and Sales to ensure inventory is aligned with production goals and customer demand-while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
What You'll Do
- Analyze production requirements and plant capacity to determine materials, tools, and workforce needs
- Plan and schedule workflows across departments in line with manufacturing sequences and lead times
- Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in customer requirements
- Drive efficient inventory management practices to meet customer needs and company targets
- Collaborate with leadership to identify production constraints and proactively address delays
- Continuously revise schedules to reflect current standards, capabilities, and technology
- Play a key role in improvement initiatives that enhance planning and production performance
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in production/materials planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Oracle MRP/ERP or similar systems
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solutions-focused mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-you're a collaborative contributor who values shared success
- Adaptability and a proactive approach in fast-moving, team-based environments
