We are seeking a Program Director join our team in our residential program in Chestnut Hill area in Philadelpha, PA.
The Program Director oversees a 16 bed Long Term Structured Residence (LTSR).
The Program Director will:
* make employment decisions including hiring, firing, advancement, promotion or change of status in conjunction with Human Resources.
* ensure documentation is properly and accurately recorded for residents to meet state regulations, payer requirements and Merakey standards including treatment plans, progress notes, and charting requirements.
* plan and review the program's budget.
* ensure proper incident reporting occurs through Merakey, state (HCSIS), county, and payers.
* ensure proper management of all crisis and emergencies.
* adhere to the alternative outpatient payment structure.
* attend all required meetings inside and outside the agency.
* ensure compliance of current Merakey policies and procedures and develops new procedures as needed.
* direct, manage, maintain, and monitor clinical services.
* ensure adherence and compliance to program best practices, Merakey policies, and outside agencies.
* ensure compliance to state, local, federal, and contract requirements as well as requirements from payers.
* facilitate ongoing assessment, evaluation, and planning of programs.
* identify and act on opportunities for growth, development and improvement within the program.
* collaborate with clinical staff, consumers and consumers' families, other programs, and outside agencies to ensure continuity of care.
* ensure program participation in PQI process.
* prepare for site visits and audits.
* provide clinical leadership in development and delivery of modalities, most effective treatment standards, policies and procedures.
* provide direct supervision of staff to ensure a high standard of care.
* supervise staff including the completion and oversight of annual performance evaluations.
* oversee staff orientation/training for all staff.
* complete any additional duties as assigned.
Earn $75,000 annually.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Education:
* Master's degree or higher in a generally recognized clinical discipline and 5 years of mental health clinical experience.
* The Program Director must be registered, licensed, or certified to practice his profession, if that profession is governed by a registration, licensing or certification board in this Commonwealth. i.e. LSW, LCSW, LPC.
Work Experience:
* 5 years of mental health paid or unpaid experience.
* Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service system.
Other:
* Valid Driver's License required.
* All Clearances required by OMHSAS regulations.
