Job Summary

The Marketing Leadership Development Program accelerates professional development by placing participants in key marketing roles and functions during a two-year rotational program. Individuals get hands-on experience by going through at least three rotations to gain key marketing competencies and will support a wide range of functions and initiatives that enable company growth. Participants will rotate through project-based roles in the key areas, including market insights, industry management, product management, digital marketing and marketing communications. During each rotation, they will establish relationships with peers and leaders, learn fundamental marketing skills and receive feedback from the program manager. Upon completion of the program, successful candidates can explore full time roles within Avient that best suits their personal and professional goals and matches the business needs.

Essential Functions



  • Gain an understanding of the various Avient businesses from a financial, operational, and strategic standpoint
  • Analyze data to support key marketing metrics to facilitate performance improvements.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams across business units.
  • Interact with Senior Management, build relationships with other employees across the globe and make a difference in Avient's future success.
  • Other duties as assigned


Education and Experience



  • BA/BS degree with emphasis in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience with conducting secondary market research and market analysis is preferred.
  • Relevant internship experience is preferred.



Qualifications



  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to acquire, assimilate, and analyze data from multiple data sources using a variety of business intelligence and reporting tools.
  • Team player with strong project coordination and organization skills required.
