Risk, Credit Risk, Internal Credit Ratings Governance Vice President, Salt Lake City Credit Risk Credit Risk (CR) is responsible for managing the firm's credit exposure to its trading and lending counterparties. Leveraging its extensive expertise in financial, credit and risk analysis, CR ensures that credit exposure to our counterparties is managed within the firm's risk appetite. Staffed with more than 270 professionals, CR operates through 12 different offices around the world and credit professionals work closely with many areas of the firm. CR professionals gain diverse financial experience and a broad perspective on how the entire firm functions. The interaction with numerous departments and the range of projects that ensue allow for a challenging, varied and multi-dimensional work environment. Credit Risk Internal Credit Ratings (ICR) Governance Team Overview The Credit Risk ICR Governance Team is a cross-industry global team with central oversight of the Internal Credit Ratings (ICR) system and procedures. The Team's focus is to ensure rating framework consistency, transparency, repeatability and adherence to internal Credit Risk Policies, Procedures, and Standards as well as global and regional (i.e. European) regulatory requirements. ICR Governance Team is responsible for supporting development and/or enhancement of industry specific ICR models and methodologies used for both underwriting and on-going portfolio monitoring, working closely with industry subject matter experts. Industries include but are not limited to Corporates, Financial Institutions, Commercial Real Estate, Investment Funds, and Structured Finance. In addition, the Team provides data analytics in support of ratings to Credit Risk leadership through on-going monitoring and controls. Key Responsibilities
