We are seeking a Digital Technology Lead, Content Standards & Excellence who is an innovative, strategic problem solver with a passion for partnering with UCB stakeholders to join our IT team based onsite in Atlanta, GA

About the role
The Digital Technology Lead, Content Standards & Excellence will drive functional and business technical solutions for content management system (CMS) implementation projects.

Who you'll work with
You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between client stakeholders and engineering teams. This role is foundational to the support of all content platforms within the Digital Technology team.

What you'll do

  • Project Oversight: Oversee the delivery of content-based projects using a variety of leading CMS tools such as Contentful and Drupal. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
  • Execution: Drive execution across multiple delivery teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery, resulting in a holistic user experience across platforms and programs. Implement technical workstreams in web projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with UCB stakeholders and agency partners to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. Facilitate clear communication between client stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Agency partners: Work closely with agency partners to ensure all content aligns with the overall digital marketing strategy and brand guidelines. This includes regular meetings to discuss objectives, review progress, and align on upcoming campaigns. Develop comprehensive briefs for agency partners, outlining project goals, target audience, key messages, and performance metrics. Establish a robust review and feedback process to maintain high content quality. Provide constructive feedback to agency partners to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to standards.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement web-focused strategies that enhance the company's digital presence and improve customer engagement. Utilize a diverse array of web platforms, technology solutions, and innovative techniques to support web initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in web development and CMS technologies.
  • Documentation and Mentorship: Document platform-specific best practices for code development, performance, security, and technical architecture. Serve as a mentor to Tech Leads, Developers, and other members of the engineering team.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the production of high-quality deliverables in collaboration with external partners. Maintain transparent communication and cultivate a shared vision to equip vendors and agencies with the necessary resources, guidance, and support needed to excel.

Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5+ years of experience leading digital solutions delivery in a multi-vendor environment
  • Solid understanding, hands on preferable of latest digital marketing, customer engagement and custom experience technologies
  • Equally capable of speaking technology and business language
  • Proven experience in developing and managing design systems, strong understanding of design principles and UI/UX best practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in web technologies and digital solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong technical expertise in Contentful, Drupal, and other leading CMS tools.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, global pharma organization

The reasonably anticipated base salary range for this position is $122,000 - $160,000 per year. Please note: UCB's offered salary will be based on individual candidate qualifications and/or location and may fall outside the expected range.
