Job Title: Software Developer

Location(s): Washington, DC

The purpose of this position is to provide Software Developer support for critical Business functions and manage tasks related to performance testing including execution, analysis and recommendations for performance optimization.

• Design, code, test, debug, maintain, and document software automations;
• Follow established software automation development standards and procedures;
• Support business functions through the development and maintenance of automation framework for applications thereby maintaining quality standards;
• Participate in peer code and design reviews;
• Analyze business and system requirements to design automation plans, develop automation scripts, setting up test Environment and Analyzing test Results;
• Contribute software automation expertise to multiple projects and ensure that specifications are met;
• Collaborate with development teams and other stakeholders to understand the applications to provide good automation coverage;
• Represent the IT department in terms of software automation development expertise in coordination with other departments;
• Experienced with a wide range of technologies;
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a small team;

• JEE, EJB 3+, Hibernate 3+, JPA, JMS, JSF, JBoss 4+ 5+ Years
• Spring 5+ Years
• Oracle 10g+; SQL Server RDBMS concepts 5+ Years
• Application Development/Software Engineering/Design Patterns 5+ Years
• Web application development 5+ Years
• Object oriented design and architecture 5+ Years
• Web Services/API Development and use 5+ Years
• Technical Documentation 4+ Years

• Bachelor Degree and/or relevant technical training with no preferred certification.
