Full-Time LPN for Assisted Living (Fri, Sat, Sun, & Mon 7am-5pm), Westchester, NY

FlexStaff is looking for an LPN for an Assisted Living facility to work for one of our external clients, a multi-service certified home care organization for their assisted living in Westchester, NY.

This is a permanent, full-time job. Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, & Monday, 7am-5pm.

In this role you will be responsible for administering skilled nursing care to patients in the facility.

An ideal candidate would have NYS LPN License and at least 1-2 Years of clinical experience.

Knowledge of State and Federal regulations as it pertains to Certified Home Health Agency required.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Taking and monitoring patient vital signs.
• Assisting patients with eating, dressing, and bathing.
• Administering medication.
• Communicating changes in patient behavior or health status to Nurses, Physicians, and family members.
• Maintaining accurate patient records.
• Collecting specimen samples when needed
• Taking an active part in patient care planning
• Overseeing Certified Nursing Assistants and training
• Preparing patients for transfers or discharge
• Assisting in medical procedures
• Managing emergency medical situations
