Cox Enterprises is hiring a Lead Aircraft/Avionics Technician to join our Aviation team! The Lead Aircraft/Avionics Technician will serve as the airframe, engine, and avionics subject matter expert for all aircraft in the Cox fleet as defined within 14 Code of Federal Regulations, Federal Aviation Administration Airworthiness Directives, Federal Communication Commission (FCC) and Manufacturer's Service Bulletins. In addition, the Lead Aircraft/Avionics Technician will assume ownership of any assigned aircraft and serve as an independent decision maker who possesses the authority for Flight Release and is responsible for the administration of the maintenance program for the designated aircraft to ensure that it is maintained to the highest quality standards in accordance with federal regulations, manufacturer's approved methods, and industry best practices. The Lead Aircraft/Avionics Technician will also act as a Flight Engineer for any assigned international trips and will be responsible for managing the aircraft when onboard. This position reports directly to the assigned Technical Operations Manager.

USD 43.32 - 72.16 per hour Compensation: Hourly base pay rate is $43.32 - $72.16/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program. Benefits: Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
