Job Summary This position is responsible for organizing and maintaining Proposal content in a library, so that the Enterprise proposal team can quickly find and use the content in RFP/ RFI deliverables. Additionally, the Communications Consultant may be asked to re-write and/or maintain pre-existing proposal content to meet the needs of multiple audiences through interaction with internal clients and management at all levels of the organization; drafting, editing; proofing and developing and executing proposal messaging and supporting communications to be distributed internally and externally to clients, consultants, and brokers; in this extremely fast-moving environment, all job expectations must be met on time with a focus on customer-service, a high degree of flexibility, a professional demeanor, and the ability to deal with ambiguity and rapidly shifting deadlines with a sense of urgency.

This is a Hybrid/Flex position, working in the office three days per week and remotely two days per week.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or English AND 3 years corporate communications experience including copy development, editing, and print project management OR 7 years corporate communications experience.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure and short timelines; ability to handle multiple projects with shifting deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Word and other Microsoft Office 365 software.
  • Ability to interact with clients with confidence.
  • Adept and comfortable at influencing the decision-making process.
  • Willingness to work overtime to meet client requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and edit an array of communications materials for internal/external audiences.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and consulting skills.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential information; adept at handling situations with political appropriateness and sensitivity while influencing positive outcomes.

Base Pay Range$53,500.00 - $118,100.00
