We are looking to hire Human Resources- Benefits Coordinator's for the following locations within the Chicago, IL area. Do you have 3 years working in the Benefits sector within a Human Resources department? If so, this might be the fit for you.

    Mercy Medical Center (Aurora, IL)
  • St. Joseph Hospital (Joliet, IL)
  • St. Mary's Hospital (Kankaee, IL)


Responsibilities

The Benefits Coordinator will administering all health plans.

  • Getting appropriate medical certifications, sending appropriate correspondence, and communicating with employees within the framework of FMLA, CFRA, and all other applicable regulations.
  • Responsible for 401k plan administration.
  • Tracking benefits deductions in HRIS and making appropriate adjustments. Reconciliation and payment processing for monthly benefit invoices.
  • Sends appropriate communication with regards to benefit updates and changes.
  • Answers all benefit related questions.


Qualifications

Required qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree required or at least 3 years experience in benefit administration required.

2. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Microsoft Office Skills required

Preferred qualifications:

1. Previous experience coordinating employee benefits, e.g. health, dental, vision coverage, etc. preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $19.00 to $25.57. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
