SUMMARY:

NoTrax, a Justrite Safety Group company is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist for their Moselle, MS operations. You will ensure that all inventory items are properly identified and readily accessible, this includes cycle counting inventories, assisting with the organization of all inventoried items, and the inputting/outputting of inventory data. This position has a great deal of interaction with purchasing, scheduling, production, the warehouse, and occasional contact with suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Performs daily inventory cycle count.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of inventory counts and will make inventory adjustments in the system.
  • Troubleshoots inventory inaccuracies to determine the cause of the inaccuracy and to determine corrective actions to guard against inventory inconsistencies in the future.
  • Assists with the planning, implementation, and monitoring of a regular physical inventories as required by cycle counting and reporting results for auditing.
  • Cultivate a team spirit and promote inter-departmental cooperation by seeking opportunities to improve internal processes.
  • Works closely with other department leaders to resolve issues.
  • Ensure planning and inventory control activities comply with all safety and quality policies and standards.
  • Maintains records and files.
  • Organizes records and work efforts to assure timely accomplishments of tasks.

  • Able to review inventory levels of finished goods and raw materials and propose revised layouts to accommodate proposed changes in inventory levels



  • Assists with the maintenance of the bill of material systems that enhance scheduling and materials management functions.


  • Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned


REQUIREMENTS:



  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an inventory/warehouse environment
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree preferred
  • Must have strong data entry skills and good organizational skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple and changing priorities
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and pay close attention to details
  • Ability to work with numbers and analyze information
  • Must be self-driven and motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
