Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring that all tableware, pots and pans, utensils, other kitchen equipment and surfaces are clean and sanitary. Work is routine with little or no deviation from accepted practices Performs related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
1. Assists with food tray preparation during meal service hours.
2. Cleans and washes dishes by hand or machine, including trays, silverware and pots and pans for morning, lunch and dinner meals.
3. Ensures the sanitation of the kitchen work area by cleaning and washing machines, mopping floor, taking garbage to the dumpster.
4. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of dishroom and pot-sink work areas.
