Were seeking a future team member for the role of Tactical Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst VP to join our Information Security Division the Global Cyber Threat Intelligence Group. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA HYBRID. (Candidates must reside within a commutable distance from office.)

In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Liase with the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA) to identify potential cyber financial fraud.
  • Conduct research into cyber threat actors, operations, and technologies to create analytic products to inform leadership and technology teams about emerging and evolving threats.
  • Independently evaluate, analyze, and synthesize large quantities of information and write in-depth analyses and agile intelligence deliverables.
  • Prepare and deliver cyber threat intelligence presentations targeted at audiences with varying levels of technical expertise and cyber awareness.
  • Refine alerting methodologies, analyze, and triage threat indicators, manage escalations and communications with Cyber Operations teams (e.g., Incident Response, SOC, VM).
  • Write threat assessments to assist in understanding relevance to the enterprise along with potential impacts.
  • Acquire threat intelligence and technical indicators from external sources; develop tactical intelligence and technical indicators internally.
  • Interface with industry peers, government, and law enforcement organizations as appropriate to acquire and share threat intelligence information.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve CTIG processes, procedures, and workflows.

To be successful in this role, were seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in information security or related technology experience required; experience in the securities, digital assets or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Capable of self-sufficient and self-motivated work ensuring high quality and timely delivery of actionable and finished intelligence products.
  • Knowledge of cyber threats, attack methods and techniques, vulnerabilities, significant security incidents, and threat actors. Knowledge of these in digital assets and third-party supply chain a plus.
  • Knowledge of multiple operating systems, platforms, and network protocols in relation to information security is preferred.
  • Experience in evaluating, analyzing, and synthesizing large quantities of data for the purposes of identifying malicious activity and drafting agile intelligence products.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means.
  • Experience using the Intelligence Cycle, Cyber Kill Chain, and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks a plus.
  • Experience with open source research techniques and information sources a plus.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP or SANS certifications a plus.
  • Experience in the Intelligence Community or law enforcement as an intelligence analyst a plus.
