Responsibilities

The Brook Hospital Dupont, located at 1405 Browns Lane, is hiring a Nurse Manager (RN). This opportunity is a full-time position with benefits.

This position is eligible for a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus

The Brook - Dupont, located in Louisville, KY, is an 88-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children and adults.

The Nurse Manager (RN) is responsible for the coordination, implementation and evaluation of the nursing care provided in the therapeutic program. The Nurse Manager oversees treatment planning, assessment of patients' psychiatric and medical statuses; administration of medication and medical treatment, direction, and intervention in crisis situations; leads milieu management, and additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be a licensed RN to practice in Kentucky and be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Must have Nursing experience providing direct patient care and maintain current CPR.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred (Five years psychiatric nursing experience in related specialty may be substituted) and two years psychiatric nursing experience, working with adolescents, preferred.
  • Three years in psychiatric nursing management preferred.
