Staffmark has a full-time position for an experienced Safety Environmental Health Manager for our manufacturing client in Sun Valley, CA. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a safety mindset, and have experience working within a manufacturing plant, you are the candidate we are searching for!

Qualifications:



  • 5 years of experience in a safety and health role.
  • Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage safety and environmental programs.
  • Reporting experience is essential.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state OSHA regulations.
  • Willingness to travel to various plant locations.


Essential Functions:



  • Oversee all aspects of the safety culture, fostering a proactive approach to risk prevention.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
  • Coordinate and deliver safety training programs to production personnel.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with federal and state safety and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, legal counsel, and inter-company personnel regarding safety and environmental matters.
  • Provide support and guidance to production personnel on safety and environmental best practices.
  • Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety and environmental documentation.


Salary | $90,000 - $100,000

1st Shift | Monday - Friday
