Surrounded by beautiful Colorado scenery and located only minutes away from Vail Mountain, the Highline Vail, a DoubleTree by Hilton, offers a unique and relaxing experience to our guests during their stay and an amazing environment for our associates to work in. We are currently looking for outgoing, energetic, and customer service-oriented individuals to fill the position of Ski Valet.

The Ski Valet will provide exceptional service by assisting guests with their ski equipment and offering support throughout their skiing experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  1. Greet and assist guests with their ski equipment, ensuring quick and efficient service.
  2. Safely store and retrieve skis, snowboards, and related equipment for guests.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized ski valet area, ensuring equipment is properly stored and easily accessible.
  4. Offer information about skiing conditions, lift access, and general mountain information.
  5. Assist guests in and out of ski boots, and provide general equipment advice and guidance.
  6. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing guest needs promptly and courteously.
  7. Follow all safety procedures and company policies related to the handling and storage of ski equipment.


OCCASIONAL DUTIES:



  1. Assist guests with luggage and ski equipment to their rooms as needed.
  2. Provide information about hotel amenities, facilities, and hours of operation.
  3. Maintain communication with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
  4. Keep the ski valet area clean and organized, ensuring equipment is handled safely and properly.
  5. Assist with other guest services, such as opening doors, greeting guests, and providing general assistance.
  6. Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure efficient ski pass handling and other related tasks.
  7. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:



  • Must have a valid Driver's License with a good record.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of the area and ski conditions is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar position preferred.
  • Must be flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
