Position Details:



  • Pay Rate: $28 - $36 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM


As an HVAC Technician, you will use your journeyman-level skills to troubleshoot, repair, and replace HVAC equipment, ensuring all systems run efficiently. You will work with the LM Buildings work order system to manage tasks and respond promptly and professionally to house calls according to operational procedures. Preventative maintenance will be a key part of your role, ensuring HVAC systems remain in top condition. You will collaborate with contractors and other departments to foster a positive work environment and document events such as system malfunctions, tenant complaints, and significant incidents like weather-related issues or security concerns. Additionally, you may assist with snow removal as needed to maintain a safe and functional property.

Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or vocational training, with at least 3 years of HVAC experience.
  • EPA 608 certification (Universal) and Mechanical IV HVAC License required; journeyman-level HVAC expertise.
  • Proficiency in facilities maintenance, including chiller, RTU, and VAV systems.
  • Strong skills with hand tools, metalworking tools, computers, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Must be eligible for and able to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation schedule.
