SUMMARY

Responsible for the design, architecture, and implementation of Salesforce-based solutions that integrate seamlessly with other enterprise systems. Focuses heavily on middleware and integration strategies, particularly utilizing MuleSoft for optimal system interoperability. Aligns technical solutions with business needs, ensuring that the Salesforce ecosystem is well-integrated, scalable, and efficient.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce-based solutions, ensuring that they align with business objectives and technical requirements. Work closely with the Salesforce Product Owner to define the technical strategy for integration and customization within the Salesforce ecosystem.

* Focus on maintaining and building integrations, primarily using Mulesoft as the middleware tool to integrate systems, such as property management systems. Design and implement complex integration strategies to support business operations and drive automation across multiple systems.

* Provide deep technical expertise on the Salesforce platform, ensuring that all integrations and customizations are well-architected and take advantage of Salesforce's native features, including Apex, LWCs, Visualforce, Lightning Experience, and Flow.

* Work closely with the Salesforce Product Owner and key stakeholders to gather requirements, create technical specifications, and design solutions that integrate Salesforce with other systems in the enterprise.

* Develop a comprehensive data strategy for Salesforce, ensuring that data integration with other systems is smooth, secure, and scalable. Ensure data governance, integrity, and compliance requirements are met.

* Define and implement best practices for integration, data migration, and system interoperability within the Salesforce ecosystem. Ensure that MuleSoft or other integration platforms are effectively leveraged for real-time and batch data synchronization for large data volumes.

* Lead the design and development of complex Salesforce customizations and integrations, focusing on optimization, performance, and future-proofing solutions.

* Create detailed technical documentation of solution designs, integrations, and architectural decisions to support future maintenance, troubleshooting, and scalability.

* Provide guidance and mentoring to other developers and the Salesforce Product Owner to ensure proper implementation of architectural decisions. Assist in providing training and knowledge transfer on integration strategies and architectural principles.

* Continuously research and stay up to date with Salesforce advancements, third-party applications, middleware tools, and industry best practices to ensure that solutions remain cutting-edge and aligned with business needs.

* Work with the Salesforce Product Owner to ensure that all integrations and architectural solutions adhere to industry best practices for security and compliance. Manage sensitive data sharing, access controls, and governance across integrated systems.

* Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Five (5) or more years of experience working as a Salesforce developer, with a strong focus on solution architecture and system integrations

Proven expertise in middleware tools like MuleSoft, with experience designing complex, integrated systems across the Salesforce ecosystem

MuleSoft Certification

SKILLS

Strong knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem, including but not limited to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Proficiency in Salesforce integration capabilities, such as APIs, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.

Strong proficiency in middleware platforms, particularly MuleSoft, and integration technologies. Proven ability to design and implement integration strategies using REST/SOAP APIs and integration platforms to connect Salesforce with other enterprise systems.

Proficient with data modeling, migration, and governance within Salesforce, including handling large data volumes (LDV) and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and implement solutions, especially in the context of complex integrations and customizations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with various teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.

Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage complex technical projects, and align solutions with business goals. Excellent skills in managing stakeholder expectations and facilitating communication between technical and non-technical teams.

Ability to adapt to changing business needs and technical requirements in a dynamic environment.
