Your work will support project teams in providing solutions for water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment, and recycled water planning and implementation issues that our water environment, transportation, and industrial sector clients are addressing. You will have opportunities to engage in significant projects throughout the United States, with potential involvement in fieldwork, technical report preparation, calculations, pre-construction conditions documentation, design plans, and specifications. What we can offer you: Meaningful Projects and Work Mentorship Professional Development Networking and Collaboration A Day in the Life of a CAD Intern: Assist engineering and multi-discipline project teams in preparing and managing drawings using CAD and/or BIM software Work on a variety of projects that allow you to apply skills and calculations learned in school Manage ongoing projects and communicate with other team members and clients Attend and contribute to client meetings Visit project sites Receive mentorship and guidance Network with employees and clients Qualifications: Pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree with a focus in CAD Valid U.S. Driver's License Completion of one year of qualified study AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience preferred Ability to interact, collaborate, and communicate with project teams in a positive and proactive manner Pay Rate: The pay rate for this position is anticipated to be between $20 and $25 per hour, and may vary based on education, experience, qualifications, skills, licensure/certifications, seniority, geographic location, and performance. #LI-Hybrid As an employee-owned firm, Kennedy Jenks offers a unique company culture with a corporate commitment to maintaining a positive work/life experience with a flexible hybrid work environment.
