Research Administrator 3 Radiology Full Time 81818BR Job Summary This position is in the Department Radiology & Biomedical Imaging. The incumbent is responsible for complex analysis and coordination of the financial aspects of grants management for Principal Investigators (PIs) supported by the Department. Key aspects of the position include interfacing with the Departmental Business Office, UCSF Office of Research, UCSF Controller's Office (Contracts & Grants Accounting), UCSF Development Office and extramural and intramural sponsors. The incumbent must be able to coordinate between multiple sites, institutions and investigators, and navigate complex funding agency guidelines. Skillful execution of a wide range of independent responsibilities, providing high-level post-award support, prioritizing and managing all aspects of the workflow are all key elements of this position. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $81,000 - $121,600 (Annual Rate). The Department of Radiology provides service for UCSF's four integrated facilities: Moffitt/Long Hospitals, San Francisco General Hospital, Veteran's Administration Medical Center, Mt. Zion Hospital, China Basin, and the Mission Bay Hospital. The department has 32 sections and research units, and has over 200 salaried faculty and non-faculty academics.
