Location Address: 2500 Windy Ridge Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia 30339 Work Shift: Salary Exempt (United States of America) Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Director, the Manager will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing balance sheets, P&L statements and other financial reports. The Manager will assist the Director to enhance policies and procedures, prepare thoughtful analyses and reporting, and participate in the month-end closing of the corporate ledgers. The ideal candidate is motivated, a life-long learner, and values process improvement. This is a high-visibility role that provides robust experience in different areas of the Company. You will have the opportunity to partner across the organization and prepare reporting for senior leadership. Key Responsibilities * Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. * Ability to research, understand, and develop thoughtful points of view as it relates to accounting standards and updates. * Help manage the relationship with internal and external audit. * Assist in preparing internal and external financial reporting. * Assist with the annual plan process. * Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts. Critical Capabilities * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and can communicate with all levels of the organization, from entry-level to executive employees. * Demonstrated experience in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and process improvement. * Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude. * Ability and desire to take on a variety of projects and prioritize competing priorities. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in accounting, * 4+ years' experience in industry and/or public accounting firm * Excellent understanding of and ability to research US GAAP. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet challenging deadlines. * Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
