Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Pay: $25-$30 per hour

The Staff Accountant will oversee day-to-day transactional accounting and perform key functions, including month-end closing transactions and analyses. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial statements and business intelligence generated by the accounting department.

Responsibilities:



  • Support senior accounting management with financial data preparation.
  • Process and review accounting documents by GAAP.
  • Monitor accounts and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare journal entries and monthly reconciliations.
  • Reconcile vendor/customer accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage fixed asset information and conduct audits as needed.
  • Assist in financial analysis and reporting activities.
  • Ensure timely data entry and adherence to internal controls.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in distribution, manufacturing, or logistics.
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and excellent analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Positive team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems, especially Acumatica, is a plus.
