Welcome to Diagnostic Laboratories and Radiology, the nation’s largest provider of combined portable x-ray, EKG, ultrasound, and clinical laboratory testing serving skilled nursing facilities, healthcare facilities, correctional institutions, and physician practices.
Diagnostic Laboratories was founded in 1927 in Hollywood, California to provide portable laboratory and radiology services to local physician groups. The company was then incorporated in 1972 and started offering portable laboratory and radiology services to skilled nursing facilities in Southern California. In 2002, Diagnostic Laboratories made its first major acquisition of a radiology company and strengthened its position as the major portable radiology provider in Southern California. In 2006, Diagnostic Laboratories relocated its operations to Burbank, California and further strengthened its position in the long term care market through a combination of organic growth and business acquisitions. Today, Diagnostic Laboratories is providing both portable laboratory and radiology services to more than 100,000 patients across the State around the clock.
For over 80 years, Diagnostic Laboratories has fundamentally developed a professional, responsive and personalized service to Skilled Nursing Facilities, Healthcare Facilities, Physicians, and Correctional Institutions. We have been committed to providing the comprehensive range of laboratory, radiology, EKG and ultrasound services, characterized not only by using the most innovative and automated laboratory systems available, but also by the extensive combined experience of clinical and administrative resources tailored to the critical needs of the long term care residents.
Currently under new ownership, Diagnostic Laboratories and Radiology is undergoing vast changes to expand our services. We have steadily increased our service area, now providing service throughout the western United States. Our commitment to advanced technology is a fundamental component of our success. Our technology section highlights improvements we have implemented. We will continue to investigate new technologies to improve the way we provide services to you.
Diagnostic Laboratories and Radiology offers a wide range of laboratory, radiology, EKG, and ultrasound services. Test and exam reports are provided to facilities on a timely basis by fax or the Internet. EKG strips are provided to the physician immediately upon request. Additional radiology services on comparative x-ray history are available upon request.
