Founded in 1852, the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company is a manufacturer and marketer of premium chocolate products. Ghirardelli is one of the few companies in America that controls the entire chocolate manufacturing process, from cocoa bean to finished product. This control over the manufacturing process combined with Ghirardelli's proprietary bean blend and unique methods of roasting and processing, ensures that you are rewarded with the highest quality and richest products. Ghirardelli is a culture where people matter!
All year we have lots of great initiatives that cater toward getting to know each other better. Employees have started a fitness program, a hiking club, a running club, an epicurean club and of course every year we host a big Chocolate Festival in San Francisco. The festival brings friends and family together and all proceeds of the event are donated to a local non-profit called Project Open Hand. We pride ourselves in the richness of the culture we’ve built and we hope you join us to make it even better!
