BBI started out with a tugboat and a dream in the waters of Pointe à la Hache, Louisiana. From that launching point, brothers N.R. Broussard, Sr., Huey Broussard, and J.L. Broussard would create a company positioned to change the way the industry works in evolving markets. Today, N.R. Broussard’s son, N.R. ‘Bubba’ Broussard Jr., serves as Chairman of the Board with his son, N.R. ‘Chip’ Broussard III, as President. Humble Beginnings

Founded in 1947, Broussard Brothers has grown from a single tugboat providing rig services to a multifaceted company that serves some of the largest and most successful companies in the oil and gas, petrochemical, public works, and agriculture industries. Combining the highest quality equipment with a team of talented and experienced personnel, our company has the capabilities to handle projects big or small. And by consistently upgrading our equipment and providing employees with continual training, we are able to meet the ever-changing demands of the industries we serve.
